The Problem

In the U.S. alone, the subscription box market generates approximately $5 billion dollars annually. With cannabis still being a surreptitious purchase for many, even where it’s legal, luxury subscription services are a no brainer – and with a high-end luxury marijuana market that caters for people willing to spend almost $3,000 for one joint.

AuBox a luxury marijuana brand aimed at women wanted in on this sector and needed a bold creative and brand to stand out.

 

 

The Solution

AuBox, a luxury marijuana brand targeting women, sought to enter this sector with a need for a bold, creative brand to distinguish itself.

Our creative direction for AuBox’s logo was inspired by its name. ‘AU’ represents gold on the periodic table, while ‘box’ signifies the subscription box that contains the cannabis products. Leveraging this insight, we developed a logo that reflects its periodic origins.

AuBox offers a variety of subscription packages starting at $140 per month. These packages include edibles, sampler joints, flowers, and an ‘intimates’ box featuring oils, candles, beauty products, and 24-karat gold rolling papers.

We crafted high-end imagery with a luxurious, beauty-oriented feel aimed at women. By juxtaposing this imagery with an island in the middle of the ocean and complementing it with the strapline ‘Find your calm,’ we aimed to suggest the escapism and relaxing qualities achievable through an AuBox subscription.
